1/31/2025⦿ I did not abandon this website. I will be in a long hiatus starting February 2025 and ending in May 2025. The 3 places that I will visit for the next 3 months are: Pangasinan(Philippines), Samarinda(Indonesia), and Singapore. Around May 2025~, I will be back. Honestly, I do not know if I will start new blogs; I've been searching for some sort of inspiration, motivation, and mental transformation from various cultures/traditions/ancient lore/etc. So far, I haven't had any epiphany or strange occurences that has re-shaped my perspective. I will not make any guarantees or promises. My future isn't set in stone. In case neocities goes down, check out my backup website: Backup Website. 1/31/2025⦿ My time in Japan is coming to an end. In December 2024, I had a wonderful time in Fukuoka, where I attended KBS Music Bank Global Festival. As soon as New Years approached, I spent most of my time fooling around in Ebisu. Around January 10, I attended a festival called "Toka Ebisu"; "Toka" means tenth day and "Ebisu" is the god of good fortune and prosperity. Most people don't understand that 99% of your life consists mainly on how lucky you are; 1% of your life is the actions that you take. It is extremely important to cultivate practices that increase your chances in good luck and prosperity. Everyone needs to go to "Toka Ebisu". You'll know what I mean when you actually attend. On the end of January, I celebrated Lunar New Year, year of the snake. The ceremony was different this year, but I still loved it.
1/31/2025⦿ Since I "closed" my 2024 k-pop blog, I'll just update it here. Unfortunately, Ziwoo has withdrawn from ARrC, a monster rookie group. I considered Ziwoo as one of the best singers of the new generation within my secret bingo book. The reason for his departure is unclear. It is not easy to join a group under a reputable k-pop entertainment company such as Mystic Story. I hope the best for Ziwoo. As Ziwoo leaves ARrC, a new member enters. Andy(former Project 7 contestant) joins ARrC.

1/8/2025⦿Annoucement:
Starting on Feb. 1, 2025, I will be on a long hiatus until May 1, 2025.
From Tokyo, Japan, I will be traveling to Pangasinan, a province in the Philippines. In Pangasinan, I will be living off-grid and hanging out in a farm. There is no internet connection what-so-ever over there; there's certain locations in Pangasinan, where there is limited internet connection, but it beats the purpose of going off-grid.
In March 2025, I will be in the capital city of East Kalimantan(Samarinda), Borneo(An Indonesian Island). From the capital city, I will relocate to a place that's pure jungle. Again, there is no internet connection in this place at all.
In April 2025, I will be in Singapore. Temporarily, I will be online and possibly check on websites. This month I will try to think of new web designs, programming, and all sorts of other stuff(nothing crazy, innovative, or anything).
In May 2025, I will be back home. I'll do my best to create a new 2025 K-pop Rookie Group Blog, New Anime Blog, and Gaming Blog.

12/19/2024⦿[Funny Personal Incident] I attended KBS Music Bank Global Festival(JAPAN). The camera zoomed into the crowd/audience/photographers and my face starred right into the camera for a brief moment(when I was screaming); it was embarrassing and hilarious moment looking back at it. I was famous for a split second. I'm glad the camera didn't stay on me for too long! It almost blew my cover since I'm the type to keep to myself most of the time.

12/10/2024⦿ I'm in Shibuya(Tokyo, Japan) until January 27, 2025. Specifically, I'm in Shōtō staying in a wealthy person's house(free of charge). Most of the time, throughout my trip, I will be hanging out in Ebisu to discuss with acquaintances about my obsessions: K-pop, anime, and other stuff. If you've been to Ebisu, then you know what happens over there.
12/6/2024⦿KPOP Blog Updated. Rumor has it that K-pop showcases are postponed because of South Korean political theater; on December 3, South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law(restricts alot of freedoms from South Koreans), which caused turmoil amongst the populace. The National Assembly unanimously voted to repeal Martial Law; Yoon complied to the National Assembly and Martial Law was repealed(hours later). Yoon simply flexed his power for a moment since his approval rating was declining. As well as flexing his power, Yoon was "baiting" to grab the attention of the opposite party to see their reaction. What ended up happening was an unintended equal and opposite reaction from both parties. Basically, South Korea gave "the red button" to Yoon and South Korea is now mad about Yoon pressing "the red button". Not to sound arrogant, insensitive, or ignorant, but all this political theater is too dumb and a waste of our time/energy. Anyways, I will give a week leeway for November k-pop debut groups before doing their final review because of all the political "drama for your mama" that is happening.

Comment: GFRIEND is back and what an outstanding performance!!! I wish they can just stay together as a group forever, but I don't know how long their contract is for Source Music. Is this a temporary project or something that will continue? Anyways, let's just be happy that they are momentarily back together again. You may be wondering why has GFRIEND returned. On January 6, they are pre-releasing a single from their special album "Season of Memories", which will be released January 13. GFRIEND will have a concert January 18-19, 2025 at the Olympic Hall, South Korea; however, before this event, GFRIEND will be performing as special guests at the 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5, 2025 in Fukuoka, Japan. Everyone who enjoys 2nd/3rd Generation K-pop must be joyously anticipating for GFRIEND's return.

Comment: Billlie's new mini-album "Appendix: Of All We Have Lost" will not disappoint you. If you don't "Belllie've" me, then "Belllie've" in Billlie. Not only is Billlie's album a strong contender for korean album of the year, but they've also magnificently performed in their live concert. Singing to a live audience, Billlie performed to their best ability with the help from a live band. The live audience is blessed to be witnessing Billlie's angelic vocals and raps.

Comment: Choi Yena, the former iz*one member, has released her japanese-style track NEMONEMO. All of Choi Yena's releases has been rambunctious, boisterous, and unrestrained. Her adorable and chipmunk-esque vocals brings alot of fluffiness to her music; the fast-paced instrumentals are addictive to listen to. With that being said, Choi Yena's NemoNemo will brighten up your day!

Comment: Pledis Entertainment keeps dropping the ball and squandering their girl groups. As I mentioned before in my blog, Pristin, from the same agency, was squandered as well, but that was far in the past. This time it is fromis_9. Each member of fromis_9 decided to not renew their contract, which ends on December 31, 2024. fromis_9 had high potential since debut, but was, unfortunately, stifled by their own agency. Basically, fromis_9 has the potential, but their company didn't support, amplify, or cultivate that potentiality; instead, fromis_9 was left to rot. Finally, they've made the decision to not renew. It was a good decision for them, but bad for the established fanbase, who have nothing but love for them. Anyways, I've cherished all their songs until the bitter end. I'll always keep their music in my heart.

Comment: Rest In Peace to Gu Ha-ra. Every time I listen to KARA, I'm reminded of Gu Ha-ra's huge contribution to music, as well as her courageous spirit. So, KARA released this Korean and Japanese track "I Do I Do", as well as their track "Hello". I've heard that they've included late Gu Ha-ra's voice within the tracks as a commemoration, which made the song even more worthwhile!

Comment: Kiss Of Life(KIOF) came out of a "nugu" entertainment company, S2 Entertainment. If this is your first time listening to KIOF songs, then you'd think that KIOF came out of the "Big 4" entertainment companies, but nope! Kiss of Life is starting from the bottom and are gradually climbing to the top. When "Midas Touch" was released, everyone joyously shook their butt to this.

Young Posse is the best candidate or contender for the best k-pop rappers for 2024; honestly, I'd say that they ARE the best. Every member is a professional rapper; however, one member is quite the powerhouse. The member, who I'm talking about, is Sunhye; Sunhye is definately someone to look out for! In my honest opinion, she could possibly hang, compete, or even beat Jessi(Ho Hyun-ju) in the rap game. Yes, you heard it from me. I'm not regretting what I said.

Comment: NMIXX only started gaining traction as soon as they released their 2024 EP's: "Fe3O4: BREAK" and "Fe3O4: STICK OUT". Before 2024, they were considered "nugu" from netizens. Their 2024 music made a huge leap for NMIXX. I, especially, love their track "Dash" the most because it holds a special place in my heart and mind.
